Awake Youth Project offers free (no cost) after-school drop-in meditation sessions for teenagers in the Winter months. Youth explore mindfulness and meditation practices, applied mindfulness activities and group discussions with AYP staff and peer advisors. AYP supports participants in integrating mindfulness into their lives through awareness of body, mind, conditioning, and relationships.

Healthy snacks provided. Feel free to arrive anytime between 4-6p – doors will open at 4 with time for snacks and conversation, followed by mindfulness practices.

Access Notes: There is one short flight of stairs leading to the entrance to the building. Please press 3-0 to be buzzed in. The center is located at the top of a steeper second staircase of 28 steps. A ramp and elevator are available via an alternate entrance; please email or call in advance if you need access. Chairs, benches, and extra support cushions are available. We are not yet a fragrance-free space; our hand soap is scented with essential oils.
